Over the past couple of years I’ve accumulated a list of interesting, and original platform-genre indie games that have inspired, amused, puzzled, addicted and also frustrated the hell out of me!
I’ve compiled some of the best of these games together for you below. They are free 2D platform-puzzlers and platform RPG-style games, and most can be played in your web browser.
This resource will keep growing as I come across appropriate additions. Feel free to suggest your own game, or obvious titles I’ve missed, in the comments.

Amil
Amil - 2D puzzle platformer utilising the player's ability to change the direction of gravity as a major game mechanic.
Faultline
Faultline - 2D indie platform game where you can use the mouse to adjust the environment.
Frogatto and Friends
Frogatto and Friends - 2D open source platform game with some really nice camera work.

Meat Boy - Stylish, bloody 2D platformer that quickly ramps up the difficulty level.
